The heads of state noted with satisfaction the consistent development of bilateral trade-economic and humanitarian cooperation.
Since the beginning of the year, the volume of trade has exceeded 700 million dollars. The joint investment fund is operating successfully, and cooperation projects in machinery, energy, electrical engineering, textiles, agriculture, and other sectors are being implemented. Interregional and business relations, cultural exchanges have intensified.
The importance of accelerating major regional infrastructure projects in the fields of energy and transport was noted.
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan also exchanged views on regional cooperation issues in Central Asia and discussed the plan for upcoming joint events.
