A man stranded on an islet in the Chirchiq river's territory passing through the Qibray district was rescued by the FVB fire-rescue squad workers.
According to the reports, on December 5th, at 16:07, information was received about a citizen stranded on an islet in the middle of the river flowing through the Qipchoq neighborhood area.
Rescuers from the Chirchiq fire-rescue brigade immediately went to the given address and evacuated the citizen from the islet in the river using a rescue boat and special equipment, and handed him over to the emergency medical service staff.
The citizen was crossing from one bank of the river to the other on horseback when the horse stumbled, fell, and was carried away by the river. Afterward, he managed to climb onto an islet in the middle of the river. The horse managed to reach the shore by itself.
The citizen's condition is now good; he has been given a thorough medical examination by doctors and allowed to return home, the report states.
