Reports about various violations committed by citizens of Uzbekistan on social networks are spreading. The Consulate General in the city of Kazan, Uzbekistan, has provided information on the situation.
Accordingly, the consulate is closely monitoring the situations occurring with the citizens of Uzbekistan in the territories included in its consular district, clarifying each case, providing consular and legal assistance to citizens, and taking necessary measures to protect their interests.
According to the investigations carried out regarding the cases spread on social networks and the responses to the official inquiries sent by the Consulate General from the competent authorities and responsible organizations of the Russian Federation, it has been shown that the unpleasant incidents in the Republic of Tatarstan and Samara region were not committed by the citizens of Uzbekistan, and the reports about the participation of citizens have not been confirmed.
