On the first day of the New Year, 1641 babies were born in Uzbekistan.

The highest birth rate was recorded in Fergana.

According to the SSC report, on the same day in 2018, there were 1961, in 2019 there were 1708, in 2020 there were 1974, in 2021 there were 1644, in 2022 there were 2316, in 2023 there were 2155, and in 2024, 1859 newborns were born. 

On January 1st, 2025, the number of babies born into the world were: 

  845 were girls,  

796 were boys. 

The highest number of newborns was in Ferghana region (244).  

Moreover, following places: 

Samarkand region — 186,

 Qashqadaryo region — 181, 

Surxondaryo region — 172, 

Tashkent region — 150, 

 Tashkent city — 139, 

 Andijan region — 90,  

 Jizzakh region — 87, 

 Bukhara region — 86, 

 Khorezm region — 83, The Republic of Karakalpakstan — 71, 

Namangan region — 65, 

Sirdaryo region — 45,

 Navoiy region — 42.  

 Among these children, there were 23 twins (totaling 47 children), meaning 22 pairs (44 children) were twins, and 1 case (3 children) were triplets.
