As previously reported, the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy projects for the state program on "Environmental protection and the implementation of the "green economy" year and its approval by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been developed and announced for public discussion.
Accordingly, by the end of 2025, the use and sale of motor fuel below the "Euro - 4" environmental standard may be restricted in Uzbekistan.
Also, this year, it is proposed to ban the use of mazut as fuel for heat and power generating plants located in all regions of the republic.
