A man who used obscene language in a public place in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention. The woman involved in the incident was fined.
It was reported that the behavior of a man and a woman at a bus stop on Turkiston Street in Kokand attracted the attention of a prevention inspector. The inspector explained to them the need to comply with the rules of conduct in public places and put them in a taxi and sent them off.
However, after the man got into the car, he used obscene language. His conversation with a foreign citizen was videotaped and spread on social networks.
During the investigation of the incident, it was established that the person who distributed the video was a foreign citizen who had come to Kokand for travel purposes and had not previously known the man.
In his explanation, the man stated that he had pinched his leg while closing the car door and, due to the pain, had used inappropriate words.
The documents related to the incident were sent to the Kokand city court. According to the court decision, the man was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention, and the woman was fined.
