There are 16 customs posts in the Tashkent region, 2024 year during
13.4 trillion soums of customs payments were counted, of which for the purpose of supporting entrepreneurs, customs payments of 6.4 trln. soums were given as privileges, the remaining 7 trln. soums were transferred to the state budget. The Tashkent regional customs department press service reported this.
Also, in 2024 month, goods worth more than 2 billion US dollars were directed to foreign markets. The main partner countries for exported goods were Kazakhstan, China, Russia,Turkey, Afghanistan, Belgium, and Pakistan.
The main exported goods include: Metals and products made from them, fruits and vegetables, transport and its spare parts, yarn, food products and textile products.
During the year 2024, a total of 143 023 customs declarations were formalized at customs posts.
If we analyze the customs declarations according to the Risk Management Information System pathways, declarations were formalized in 29% “green corridor”, 55%“yellow corridor”, 17% “red corridor” procedure.
Additionally, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, the Directorate fought against illicit trafficking of narcotics, resulting in 78 cases of 75.8 kg of narcotics being seized.
In the fight against illicit trafficking of goods, goods worth 69 billion 484 million soums were confiscated.
State akciz (excise) marks were not found in 63 cases of tobacco products worth 1.9 billion soums in total, 69,593 packages, and 5.9 billion worth of unguaranteed quality medicines were halted in their illegal circulation.
In the identified cases of violations, additional customs payments of 31.9 billion soums were calculated.
