The President of the UAE met with a delegation of leading companies headed by the Minister of Investments.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the city of Abu Dhabi on January 14th, during which he held a meeting with a delegation of leading companies from this country, headed by Muhammad Hasan Al-Suwaidi, the Minister of Investments of the United Arab Emirates and the CEO of "ADQ" holding.

The meeting was attended by the leader of "AD Ports Group" Muhammad Juma Al-Shamisi, the leader of "Tadweer" Ali Al-Daheri, the leader of "Plenary Group" Mustafa Fahur, and the leader of "DUCAB" Muhammad Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa.

These companies are among the world leaders in their fields, with their total assets amounting to more than 200 billion dollars.

The possibilities of developing practical cooperation in high-tech sectors and expanding the investment portfolio were explored.

The rapidly developing partnership in various directions of the economy with the UAE was noted with great pleasure. Joint measures are being implemented to promote investments and develop industry and advanced technologies.

Next steps were identified for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with each company. Discussions were held about joint projects in infrastructure development, urban planning, energy, transport and logistics, mining industry, electrical engineering, utilities, and other sectors.

Agreements were reached on accelerating projects in implementing innovative technologies, developing rare metal mines, developing regional railways and establishing "dry" ports, accelerating cable products manufacturing projects, and promoting PPP projects in education and healthcare sectors.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to adopt a "roadmap" for all areas of practical cooperation.
