On January 13, a law [No. ЎРҚ-1018] was signed by the president, introducing amendments and additions to the "Law on State Duty". This was reported by the "Legal Information" Telegram channel here.
According to the addition to the "Law on State Duty", business entities and other legal entities are exempt from paying the state duty for re-registration due to the change of their location (mailing address) as a result of the establishment or abolition of administrative-territorial units, changes in their boundaries or subordination.
Furthermore, amendments are being introduced to exempt insurers from paying the state duty on claims arising from compulsory insurance contracts.
In this case, insurers (insured persons, beneficiaries, victims) are exempt from paying the state duty in Civil and Economic courts on claims arising from compulsory insurance contracts.
The law comes into force from the day it is officially published.
