The President's decision “on the establishment of the Cyber University State University” was adopted on January 20, 2025. The Ministry of Digital Technologies press service reported this.
According to the decision, the main tasks of the university are defined as follows:
- training personnel in the fields of information protection, information and cyber security, digital technologies and digital economy, artificial intelligence-based automated information-warning systems creation, robotics, and other related sectors;
- retraining and improving the qualifications of specialists in the field of digital technologies;
- organizing the educational process based on advanced foreign experience and modern educational technologies, as well as assisting in the development of an open information and education environment;
- creating additional conditions for youth to acquire knowledge and skills, expanding selection and coverage in providing state bodies, enterprises, and other organizations with personnel;
- collaborating with leading national and foreign higher education and scientific-research institutions, digital technology developers and consumers, and other sectoral enterprises in implementing educational and scientific projects;
- creating educational-methodical literature relevant to the fields and specialties, engaging students and specialists in fundamental, scientific, and practical research.
