A citizen accused of committing a fraud crime was arrested in Istanbul, Turkey, and deported to Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan reported this.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan announced that as a result of rapid-search operations conducted in collaboration with the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry and the Consulate General in Istanbul, a citizen Y.D, who was wanted by the Tashkent city police department for committing a crime envisaged under part 3 of article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, was arrested in Istanbul and deported to Uzbekistan.
The Ministry also requested that citizens who have been victims of this individual's illegal actions contact their local law enforcement agencies or dial the short number 102.
