A fire broke out in a hotel building under construction in the city of Alanya in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The blaze was completely extinguished two hours after it began. "Anadolu" reported on this.reported.

According to Governor Fotiḥ Urkmezer, all workers at the site were safely rescued. The fire occurred in a 12-story building consisting of two blocks. Previously, the building was used as a hotel and residence but was being renovated at the time.

“No fatalities, 4 people were rescued. Three people were affected by smoke. Their condition is considered satisfactory. Surrounding buildings were not endangered. There was no need to evacuate people in the area,” the governor said.

It is reported that local residents were the first to help and attempted to extinguish the fire. Firefighting teams promptly arrived at the scene and surrounded and completely extinguished the fire within two hours. A crane was used to rescue people trapped on higher floors. The causes of the fire are being investigated.
