A children's military parade called "Grandchildren of Victory" ("Pravnuki Pobedi") was held in Vladivostok, Russia. Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako announced this on his official channel.
At the event, more than 1,500 primary school students of the region, dressed in military uniforms, marched along the central streets of the city. They symbolized various types of troops and volunteer combat detachments.
Schoolchildren from North Korea also watched the parade from the stands. Governor Kozhemyako explained this by the DPRK military's "active participation in the fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region."
The event is one of the mass military-patriotic actions organized in Russia on the eve of May 9 - Victory Day.
