An Indian Mirage 2000 fighter jet crashed during a scheduled training exercise, according to a report by The Times of India. reported.

Initial reports indicate that both pilots of the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet managed to eject safely in time and sustained only non-life-threatening injuries.

The aircraft crashed near Shivpuri (Gwalior) due to a technical malfunction in the system.

Investigations into the causes and details of the crash are currently underway, with an inquiry ordered by the IAF.
