The Law (№ УРҚ-1030, dated 13.02.2025) introduced amendments and additions to the Labour Code. The Ministry of Justice reported this.
With the law, additional amendments are being introduced into the Labour Code that include the establishment of procedures for formalizing electronic employment contracts within the "Unified National Labour System" inter-agency hardware-software complex, the procedure for determining the duration of unpaid leave and the procedure for calculating the average wage.
Additionally, amendments that specify the types of educational institutions where employees can study in evening or extramural forms of education are being made in accordance with the "Education Law".
Moreover, a ban on dismissing an employee due to pregnancy or having a child is being introduced.
According to the introduced amendments, state bodies and organizations will independently inquire data related to an entering employee’s passport or identifying ID-card, and work book, including through inter-agency integration platforms within information systems.
The application of labour legislation relating to the labour relations of state civil servants is determined in parts not regulated by the "Law on Civil Service".
The law comes into effect from the day it is officially published.
