A report has been leaked to social networks about a mother and child being killed and their house set on fire in the Surkhandarya region. The head of the press service of the Prosecutor General, Hayot Shamsutdinov, provided information to darakchi.uz.
It was discovered that on February 15 of this year, around 03:39 AM, a citizen Sh.E. (female) from the Uzun district of the Surkhandarya region called "102" and reported that a fire was taking place in the residence of her neighbor M.R. (female).
According to this report, when the rapid investigation team arrived at the scene, the bodies of citizen M.R. (female) and her minor child O.H. (male) were found with head injuries. Moreover, minors M.H. and Z.H. (female) were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Uzun district medical association with head injuries.
In relation to this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 part 2 clause "a" of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigation activities are currently underway.
