The late politician's widow Yulia Navalnaya announced the establishment of the “Alexei Navalny” award.
It is reported that the award will annually be given on June 4 – Alexei Navalny's birthday, to young politicians and representatives of local initiatives.
Yulia emphasized that she never discussed with her husband Alexei the possibility of her continuing his work.
"He was ready to take risks, but he would never wish such a fate for me and always wanted to protect me. I always knew we were living in danger, but Alexei never backed down. However, I never understood this... I understood on February 16. I want the regime of Vladimir Putin to end as soon as possible. I dream of going back - returning home," said Navalnaya in her speech.
