“Additional measures on further development of the housing and mortgage market” Presidential Decree (PF-26, 21.02.2025) has been adopted. The Ministry of Justice reported this.
According to the Decree, the main directions of the program to provide housing through mortgage loans based on market principles in 2025 are defined as follows:
to build 135,000 apartment houses totaling 8.1 million m2 in regions;
to increase the number of subsidies for covering a part of the initial contributions and interest payments on mortgage loans by 1.5 times and to allocate 2.5 trillion UZS from the State budget for these purposes;
to allocate mortgage loans in the amount of 20.9 trillion UZS for providing the housing and mortgage market with financial resources;
To provide working capital for construction organizations participating in the construction of multi-apartment buildings in “New Uzbekistan” and other arrays, 700 billion UZS from the State budget and 3.0 trillion UZS from the funds of commercial banks will be allocated.
Target indicators for the construction of multi-apartment buildings in “New Uzbekistan” and other arrays have been approved for 2025.
From March 1, 2025, new areas for “New Uzbekistan” arrays will be selected according to urbanization principles.
