A new electronic mechanism for recruiting into state medical institutions has been created. The Ministry of Health Information Service reports about this.
Corruption is a serious danger to the state and society. Therefore, in our country, in all sectors, especially in the healthcare system, a number of measures aimed at fighting vigorously and uncompromisingly against this scourge and eliminating various bureaucratic and human factor related obstacles are being implemented.
— In particular, at the moment, under the ministry, a rapid reporting on conflict of interests and corruption cases is functioning through the "Trust Phone" at 71 241-10-65 or the nationwide number 1203, aiming to timely prevent and eliminate shortcomings in this area, — says Azizbek Shukurov, the leading specialist of the Department for Prevention of Corruption and Combatting it.
To prevent violations of budget legislation, corrupt practices, and financial shortcomings in the sector, a Situational Center has been established under the ministry.
This center, which allows monitoring and controlling every financial operation conducted in medical institutions, operates on the basis of information systems such as "xarid.uzex.uz", "xt-xarid.uz", "Shaffof qurilish", "UzASBO", "DMBAT", "registr.stat.uz" and the electronic database of the Chamber of Accounts.
Furthermore, a new electronic mechanism for recruiting highly qualified personnel into state medical institutions has been created and was launched on a trial basis in the Bukhara region since last November.
Owing to the success of this new system in practice, it is planned to be fully implemented nationwide by March 2025.
