In England, a non-qualified surgeon, Dr. Mian Munawar Shah, administered incorrect medical treatments to 91 patients, thereby causing them serious health damage. This was reported by zamon.uz here.
One of the victims, 51-year-old Angela Glover, stated that in 2018, Shah, while working at a state hospital in Walsall, wrongly diagnosed her shoulder condition and performed surgery on it. It was later found that her shoulder did not require surgical intervention. Currently, Glover suffers from constant pain and is unable to engage in normal daily activities.
Investigations have shown that Shah carried out complex surgical operations without having the necessary qualifications for medical practice. The hospital head has apologized to the patients and their families. However, it is still unknown what punishment Shah will face and whether the victims have received any financial compensation.
