In Uzbekistan, the creation of the "Eurasian Islamic Manuscripts" electronic catalog is being planned for the scientific study and presentation to the general public of manuscripts related to Islamic science and culture.
This project is expected to be carried out by the Center of Islamic Civilization and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
This venture is considered to have a wide scope not only locally but also internationally. Within the project framework, Islamic manuscripts scattered across the Eurasian region will be collected and fully digitized.
This will ensure the preservation of unique scientific works, their comprehensive study, and their transmission to future generations. Through the electronic catalog, researchers will have the opportunity to directly acquaint themselves with Islamic manuscripts.
The "Eurasian Islamic Manuscripts" electronic catalog will serve to popularize Uzbekistan's rich scientific heritage on a global scale, develop scientific research on Islamic culture and history, and strengthen international cooperation.
