According to the State Security Service's report to darakchi.uz, during a rapid operation conducted by the Service's Surkhandarya regional department in collaboration with the internal affairs agencies, a person resident in Sariosiyo district, born in 1977, previously convicted, was caught while attempting to hide 82 kg 478 gr of “opium” substance left by Tajik drug couriers in a secret location within the territory of Uzun district at one of the local non-residential farm buildings.
It was revealed that he was supposed to deliver this drug substance to a predetermined location in the future, following the instructions of a Tajik drug dealer, in return for a service fee of 2,000 US dollars.
In a rapid operation carried out by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kosonsoy district of Namangan region, an individual born in 2001 was caught while placing synthetic drugs in a “stash” fashion.
Moreover, it was discovered that he had established a drug laboratory in the residence of his mother-in-law, and during the search investigation activities, 9 kg 450 gr of synthetic drug “Mephedrone” substance was seized as physical evidence.
In addition, a total of 595 gr of “Mephedrone” substance, intended for sale to clients and left in secret places, was also duly documented and seized.
In another case, when receiving substances sent from the Russian Federation via international postal parcels under the guise of another product in plastic containers, 7 kg 313 gr. of synthetic cannabinoid analogue known as “5-Fluro-ADB” substance, two individuals temporarily residing in Tashkent city, born in 2001 and 2002 in Kashkadarya region, were arrested by the State Security Service and the Customs Committee.
It was revealed that, following the instructions of an unknown profile they met through the “WhatsApp” messenger, they were supposed to deliver this deadly potion from Tashkent city to the Samarkand region for 500 US dollars.
Subsequently, the operation continued, and when these narcotic substances were received in the Samarkand region, two individuals residing in Pastdargom district, born in 2001 and 2002, were also arrested.
One of their residences in Samarkand city was inspected, revealing the establishment of a hidden laboratory designated for the preparation of synthetic drugs.
Criminal cases have been initiated against the individuals involved in all these incidents under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and pretrial detention has been applied as a precautionary measure. Investigation activities are ongoing.
