The US President threatened Tehran with a "great threat." This was reported by "DW" publication.

"Iran should not have nuclear weapons, and if the negotiations end unsuccessfully, I think it will be a very bad day for Iran," the US president said.

Trump had previously promised to launch "unprecedented" bombing if Tehran withdrew from the nuclear program agreement.

Russia offered to act as an intermediary between Iran and the US. However, analysts warn Washington about this, as Moscow and Tehran share common interests and risk weakening US positions in the Middle East.

Russia and Iran signed a new strategic partnership agreement in January 2023, but the parties are not ready to protect each other in the event of war.
