An avalanche occurred in the Chimyon dam area.

A snow avalanche occurred in the Chimgan recreation area of Tashkent region. This was reported by Uzhydromet announced.

According to the Chimgan avalanche station, the incident occurred roughly between 06:00—11:00 on April 5th.

It is noted that a single avalanche of 750 m³ in volume descended from the northern exposure of the mixed snow cover in the recreation area.

There were no casualties or injuries due to the incident.
