Yesterday, on April 11th at 21:53, a fire broke out in the cargo area of a “CHANGAN” vehicle on the A-373 “Tashkent-Osh” highway, specifically at the “Qamchiq” pass section, as a result of a short circuit in the electric scooter's charger.
Following the report, two fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 22:09, the fire was contained at 22:11, and completely extinguished at 22:12.
As a result of the fire, the vehicle's cabin and cargo area were damaged. Thanks to rapid actions, 9 out of 18 bicycles and 1 out of 4 electric scooters in the cargo area were saved from the fire.
There were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the incident.
