Negotiations over the nuclear deal between the United States and Iran have once again intensified. President Donald Trump has given Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a two-month deadline to reach a new agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program. If a deal is not achieved within this period, the likelihood of military action by either the US or Israel is high.

Although Tehran has expressed its readiness to engage in talks, it refuses to give up its right to enrich uranium. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that uranium enrichment is Iran’s inalienable right and not open for negotiation. Furthermore, Iran has rejected the US proposal to transfer its uranium stockpiles to a third country, such as Russia.

The US itself has internal political disagreements on this issue. While the group, led by Vice President Vance, advocates for a diplomatic solution, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Secretary of State Marco Rubio take a more firm stance, demanding stricter measures against Iran.

If the negotiations are successful, sanctions against Iran may be eased, and the economic situation may improve. However, if an agreement is not reached, the risk of military strikes from the US and Israel will increase. This will exacerbate instability in the region and could seriously affect the Iranian economy.
