Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with US President's special envoy Stephen Witkoff at the Kremlin on Friday, reported the journalists by Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The visit of the US President's special envoy Stephen Witkoff to Russia is "Russian President Vladimir Putin is hosting President Trump's envoy Stephen Witkoff at the Kremlin," he said.
This is the second meeting between Putin and Witkoff in the last two weeks and the fourth since the beginning of the year. The last one took place in Saint Petersburg on April 11 and lasted for more than four hours.
According to Peskov, the issues are numerous, "the substance is very complex, therefore the conversations usually last quite long."
The Kremlin considers the contacts with Witkoff to be very beneficial, and they emphasized that it serves as a "very good, reliable channel" for conveying their position.
