According to the order, from June 1, 2025, families categorized as “red” will pay a special scholarship twice the amount of the basic scholarship to female students with “excellent” grades.
From September 1, 2025, a separate quota equal to 15 percent of the total number of children attending extended day groups at general education institutions will be allocated for children from poor families, and they will be exempted from parental fees.
From January 1, 2026, the expenses for rest and recuperation in camps within the system of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan for children from poor families with “excellent” grades will be fully covered.
The National Agency for Social Protection is the state body coordinating the provision of social services and assistance to families listed in the Registry of Poor Families and the Single Registry of Social Protection.
