Activities of a transnational criminal organization stopped in Tashkent and Namangan regions

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during operational measures carried out by law enforcement agencies, the smuggling of over 26 kilograms of narcotic substances was halted.

In an operation conducted in the Qibray district of Tashkent region, two suspects were detained while receiving 21.5 kilograms of hashish, opium, and methamphetamine.

During the investigation, it was determined that they acted on the orders of a person born in 1972. It was reported that this individual colluded with a citizen of a neighboring state to engage in the import of narcotic substances into Uzbekistan.

Additionally, in another operational measure in the Namangan region, a previously convicted person born in 1963 was caught while receiving 5 kilograms of hashish.

Criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents.
