The employees of the State Security Service's Tashkent regional department, in collaboration with the internal affairs bodies, conducted a rapid operation, during which medical equipment belonging to two citizens of Andijan region's Qo'rgontepa district, born in 1983 and 1988 respectively, was inspected. These individuals had entered our country from the Republic of Kazakhstan through the "Navoi" border customs post in the Tashkent region.
As a result, it was discovered that hidden within this equipment were synthetic narcotic substances "Mephedrone" weighing 4.206 kg and "Alpha-PVP" weighing 3.970 kg, with a total value of 1 million US dollars.
Furthermore, the operation continued, resulting in the arrest of five citizens related to this case, residing in Tashkent city and region, born in 1992, 1993, 1995, and 2000.
It was revealed that they had been following the instructions of a citizen of the Russian Federation, involved in the trade of narcotic substances through the "Telegram" messenger.
In another case uncovered at the "Navoi" border customs post, a person employed as a carter by a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, born in 1980, was stopped and inspected while entering our country from the Republic of Kazakhstan with a gas stove.
As a result, it was found that the gas stove contained 1.985 kg of synthetic narcotic substance "Alpha-PVP," and the matter was formally documented in a procedural manner.
Additionally, the rapid operation continued, resulting in the arrest of a person, born in 2006 and residing in Tashkent city, at the time of accepting this narcotic substance, with physical evidence.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against the individuals involved in both incidents under Articles 246 and 273 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
