Therapist Ludmila Lapa shared safety tips for the swimming season. The specialist warned that swimming in prohibited water bodies could lead to intestinal infections and other health problems.

"If the weather is cold, one should not enter the water. It's dangerous for life, and there is a high risk of heart attacks and strokes for human arteries," - she said.

Lapa also noted the danger of swimming in pools during hot weather - the sharp change in temperature between the hot air and cold water can negatively affect the blood vessels and the general condition of the body. Additionally, she pointed out that sitting on cold ground could exacerbate chronic diseases.

The doctor reminded that simple precautionary measures - protecting the skin from the sun and wearing footwear on the beach, should be observed while relaxing in nature.
