A statue of Lionel Messi installed in Kolkata, India may be demolished. According to ESPN, the 21-meter statue was deemed dangerous because it swayed during strong winds.
Local residents complained that the monument was not sturdy. According to an Indian deputy, the statue shook violently under the influence of the wind.
According to reports, the Messi statue was built in just 27 days last December and was unveiled together with players from Inter Miami during the footballer's visit to India.
Local officials are currently considering moving the monument to another location.
