According to official information provided by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), Israel conducted strikes against several sites in Iran related to the nuclear program.
The IDF estimates that Iran has enough enriched uranium to produce 15 nuclear bombs within a few days. Therefore, Israel has declared that it was compelled to take necessary measures against this “imminent threat.”
According to a report by Reuters news agency, the sound of explosions was heard near the nuclear facilities in the city of Natanz and in Tehran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated:
“We struck at the heart of Iran's enrichment program. We also attacked important parts of Iran's ballistic missile program,” - he said.
