Employees responsible for the products of an LLC selling unmarked tobacco products in Tashkent city have been detained. This was reported by the press service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
According to the report, during an inspection conducted prior to an investigation by the Yakkasaroy district department of the region, it was found that the responsible persons of "M.B." LLC had placed for sale 1,830 units of unmarked excise tobacco and electronic tobacco products with a total value of 108.9 million soums, as well as 1,069 units of electronic tobacco product accessories, produced abroad without proper documentation, in a karaoke bar located in the "Bobur" neighborhood. Subsequently, these products were seized as material evidence.
Similarly, during an urgent operation conducted by the Chilanzar district department of the Department, 756 units of unmarked excise electronic tobacco products with a total value of 221.6 million soums were seized as material evidence from a retail store of "P.V." LLC in the "Lutfi" neighborhood.
Regarding these cases, criminal cases have been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal trafficking or production of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products), and investigative actions are being carried out.
