Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas stated that any agreement between the U.S. and Russia must take into account the interests of Ukraine and the European Union.
According to Kallas, this issue is not only related to Ukraine's security but also to the security of the entire Europe.
She announced that on August 11, the EU foreign ministers will convene a meeting to discuss further measures regarding Ukraine.
European leaders also emphasized in a joint statement that the positions of Ukraine and the EU must be considered in U.S.-Russia negotiations.
The President of Ukraine supported this initiative.
