According to U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump's main goal is to facilitate negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Vance stated that Putin has expressed reluctance to meet with Zelensky, while Trump is attempting to change this position.
The U.S. is developing a three-party negotiation plan and remains in constant contact with Ukraine.
Vance also emphasized that the U.S. condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine but does not wish to continue financing the war.
