A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6 struck Indonesia's central Sulawesi province on August 17, injuring at least 29 people due to the natural disaster. The Independent reported this.

It is known that the earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 1 kilometer, making the impact severe. Two people are in critical condition and have been hospitalized. A church in Sulawesi province was destroyed, and a section of another church under repair collapsed, trapping several people.

Videos taken from the city of Poso show the moment the earthquake began during a church service, with the congregation panicking and attempting to flee.
