The operation for Israeli forces to fully occupy the Gaza sector will continue into 2026. This was reported by "Ynet".
It is reported that the mobilization of reserve soldiers for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will be carried out in September and November 2025, as well as in March 2026.
The operation will involve 5 divisions, 12 combat brigade groups, and the northern and southern brigades of the Gaza Division. Additionally, three reserve brigades will be called up for combat operations. At its most intense phase, the number of reserve soldiers on active duty will total 130,000 people.
It is noted that the plans for the occupation of Gaza will be presented to the Israeli government on August 21. According to sources of "The Times of Israel", call-up papers are expected to be sent to 60,000 reserve soldiers.
