The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, at the meeting, emphasized the common roots, traditions, and shared history of mutual understanding between the two nations.
Tokayev: "The peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have always lived in constant friendship and brotherhood. We are pleased with Kyrgyzstan's achievements and place great importance on strengthening cooperation."
Japarov, in turn, referred to Tokayev as "an outstanding statesman on an international scale" and stressed that neighborly relations have reached a new level: "Our greatest strength lies in the unity and mutual understanding of our two peoples," he said.
