Banks and brokers in Armenia are requesting information from Russian clients about their tax residency. This is being implemented within the framework of the automatic exchange of information with Russia.
According to experts, Yerevan will send the first batch of information for the end of 2024 to Moscow in September.
Thus, the Russian Federal Tax Service will be able to see the income and assets of Russians who have opened accounts in Armenia.
Armenia is currently considered the most popular country among Russians for opening foreign bank accounts.
