Uzbekistan's foreign trade reached $44.4 billion in 7 months

In January-July 2025, trade turnover increased by nearly 20 percent, but trade with some countries decreased sharply.

According to the statistics agency's data, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover for the 7 months of 2025 amounted to $44.4 billion, an increase of $7.37 billion or 19.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

The most significant change was gold exports of $7.7 billion, which is considered a historical record. China has strengthened its position as the main trading partner, accounting for 18.2 percent of the total turnover.

Although trade volume with the UAE, India, Afghanistan, and the Netherlands has increased noticeably, the trade share with Lithuania, Turkmenistan, South Korea, the USA, and Turkey has decreased.
