More than a hundred French deputies have signed a bill to announce the impeachment of President Emmanuel Macron, said Mathilde Panot, head of the parliamentary faction of the left-wing party "France Unbowed".

"A historic moment! Following the success of the popular demonstrations on September 10, 'France Unbowed', along with 104 parliamentarians from overseas territories, ecologists, and communist parties, have signed a proposal to remove the president of the republic from power. Macron must resign," she wrote on the X social network.
