Although the woman had written to the internal affairs authorities twice, a protection order had still not been issued to her.

According to a report by Nemolchi.uz, the woman had previously received an order valid until September 20, but her request for its extension did not reach the court. Meanwhile, the man attacked the woman at her workplace on October 16 and in front of her house on October 25.

The victim is dissatisfied with the negligence of the internal affairs authorities: "He threatens me, throws things at my car, and says he will beat me. Now I am even afraid to walk to my car," she says.

Nemolchi.uz has requested that the Ministry of Internal Affairs investigate the actions of the Bektemir district DIA regarding the incident and that a protection order be issued to the victim.
