The Tashkent City Mayor's Office announced that the construction of the boulevard in the territory of the former No. 1 investigative detention center is delayed due to the conservation regime.
The 2.9-hectare land in Yunusabad was transferred to the mayor's office balance in 2018, but in 2020 it was allocated to "Ognеupor" LLC as compensation.
In 2024, an administrative building of 76 square meters was built on the territory. According to the "Master Plan of Tashkent City until 2045", the land is in a conservation zone, and the construction of new buildings is prohibited.
The boulevard construction can only be carried out if the conservation regime is canceled.
