According to Karelia's head, Arthur Parfenchikov, the emergency services were immediately dispatched to the crash site.

It was reported that the deceased were military servicemen of the 159th Aviation Fighter Regiment. There are no casualties among the civilian population. The causes of the incident are being investigated.

Recall that on November 11, it was officially confirmed that a Turkish military aircraft crashed in Georgian territory and 20 military servicemen were killed.

In Turkey, it is being suggested that the cause of the crash might have been the plane being shot down.
