A video spread on social networks showing a man in Syrdarya assaulting a doctor out of jealousy towards his wife, who was a patient. The regional DIA provided official information regarding the incident.
It was reported that a conflict arose among the relatives of a patient brought to the hospital for an examination, following a call received via "102".
While studying the situation at the scene, prevention inspectors determined that the patient's husband and son had brought the female patient for a doctor's examination, and during the examination, the duty doctor helped the patient to sit up and was checking the abdominal area when the husband, out of jealousy, got into a conflict with the doctor.
As part of the investigation, before the interrogation was conducted, the doctor underwent a forensic medical examination. According to the examination's conclusion, no bodily injuries or signs of harm were found on the doctor.
The collected materials were reviewed by the Mirzaabad District Court on Criminal Cases. According to the court's decision, the man was found to have violated the requirements of Article 183 (petty hooliganism) and Article 197 (prim 7) (obstruction of the lawful activities of a medical worker) of the Administrative Responsibility Code, and he was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
