This hydroelectric power station is considered the last of the 6 stations built within the framework of the five-year plan in the province.
The ceremony took place on November 20 and was attended by party and government leaders, military personnel, builders, and local residents. Kim Jong Un emphasized that the completion of the project is an important step for the country, evaluating it as a symbol of the successful conclusion of 2025.
In the photos distributed by the agency, the inscription "The great unity of the people" is visible on the HPP dam. Kim Jong Un expressed gratitude to the project participants on behalf of the Central Committee and called the station a "gift" to the IX Party Congress.
At the end of the event, the state leader cut the red ribbon and familiarized himself with the HPP infrastructure—the history room and the electric generators.
