Based on the instructions provided by EASA, Uzbekistan Airways has updated the software of its Airbus A320/321 aircraft. The airline's press service reported this.
According to the report, the requirements of the Emergency Airworthiness Directive, which intended to introduce changes to the flight control system software, have been fully complied with.
This requirement was introduced by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on November 28, 2025, due to the necessity of replacing one of the onboard computers in Airbus A320/321 aircraft with a new DT version to prevent weaknesses in the hardware caused by strong solar radiation.
The instruction had to be executed within 24 hours. As of November 29, it was reported that all A320/321 ceo/neo aircraft had undergone the software modification, and the full completion of the process was planned to be carried out by 23:00 Tashkent time on the same day.
