A shooting occurred at a shopping center located in Silicon Valley, USA, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.

According to the publication's report, an unidentified person opened fire at the crowded Westfield Valley Fair shopping center during a "Black Friday" sale. As a result of the incident, 3 people were injured and hospitalized.

After the shooting, people panicked, running out of the shopping center, while others sought shelter inside stores, hiding behind clothing racks and displays.

"The shooter fled the scene, and police are continuing their search for him," the report states.

According to preliminary police information, the incident is not about terrorism, but rather an altercation between an unidentified shooter and a wounded man. According to Sergeant Jorge Garibay, the injured woman and girl "had no connection to the incident" and they were accidentally harmed.
