According to information from the State Security Service, 12,848 drug-related crimes were identified in the republic from January to October 2025. During this period, the illegal circulation of 2 tons 761 kilograms of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and potent pharmaceuticals was stopped.
From September to November, 3,614 such crimes were recorded. 2,346 people related to them were detained, among whom were 194 women and 984 young people. Within three months, 447 kg of narcotic substances, 17 kg of synthetic substances, and 84 liters of precursors were seized.
Furthermore, 465 cases related to online drug sales and 2.2 thousand facts of drug propaganda were identified.
The Committee noted that in recent years, drug-related crimes in the country have been sharply increasing. If 7,142 crimes were identified in 2021, this indicator reached 12,278 in 2024, and in 2025 this number is expected to be even higher.
The number of clandestine drug laboratories is also growing: if 4 laboratories were exposed in 2021, this indicator reached 12 in 2025. The seizure of synthetic narcotic drugs is also increasing year by year — 90 kg of synthetic substances have been seized in the current year alone.
In addition, it is emphasized that since the beginning of 2025, 531 kg of hashish has been seized, which is the highest indicator in the last five years.
